An iOS game that challenges reaction times
Button Pusher is an iOS game that tests users reaction times using a set of buttons. The user must push and release buttons as required before a timer above each button reaches zero. As the game progresses the speed at which the user must react increases. The aim of the game is to get as many button presses as possible.
To create the game Apple's SpriteKit framework is used. It is built with efficiency in mind and can achieve 60 frames per second on most iPhones.
The game integrates with Game Center allowing players to compare high-scores and achievements. They are also able to share their score to other apps that support it such as Facebook or Mail.
